Dedicated to the memory of Gavin Johnson

This site is a tribute to Gavin Johnson, who was born on November 11, 1974 and sadly passed away on May 26, 2020. He is much loved and will always be remembered. We've created this page as a lasting memory of Gavin - something that we all, but particularly Rhys and Iestyn, can look back on in years to come. We'd love you to include messages and memories of your own - Rhys and Iestyn love to hear about their daddy. There is a ‘thoughts’ section below where you can add your message.

On behalf of all of our staff and volunteers, thank you so much for choosing to commemorate Gavin by raising money for Samaritans. We truly appreciate every donation we receive, but we are especially grateful that you have thought of us at this time. Please accept our sincerest condolences - your gifts are a lovely way to celebrate Gavin’s life and we really can’t thank you enough. Your support will help us continue to be there for anybody who is struggling to cope. Please remember, Samaritans is here for anyone, at any time of day or night. If you’re finding things difficult and would like to speak to someone, please do not hesitate to contact one of our listening volunteers on 116 123, or email jo@samaritans.org. With warmest regards

So many brilliant memories growing up with my cousins - Charm, Gav & Ed. There was just the five of us with my sister Jo. I remember them dressing me and my sister up in Auntie Kay’s clothes playing with their toy guns in their MAHOOSIVE playroom! Gav was so charming and well mannered. He wasn’t perfect but who is? I can’t get my head around the fact one of my cousins has gone. That’s not supposed to happen. I will always miss him. Rest in peace Gav - you will be missed by so many. He can live on through his boys and for that I am grateful xxx
